TheCall DC - We need your support!
We are delighted and humbled to be writing this letter to you. Amber and I have been growing in so many ways as a family and as ministry. We want to be able to share with you about these important elements in our life.
Amber and I both work forty plus hours per week; myself at my Dad’s company Bain Agency, Inc and Amber at Kids in Ministry International. We are having a blast raising our one year old, Avigail Lily; we also are on staff at Solomon’s Rest, a house of prayer in downtown Bismarck.
In addition to our day jobs, contending for revival in our city through night and day prayer and playing mommy and daddy to our beautiful little girl, we strive to mobilize the Church in our city to stand and pray for abortion to end in America. We stand as a wall in front of the Bismarck capitol building for government issues on a local level. We are urged in 1st Timothy to intercede for our government leaders; therefore we believe it is the responsibility of the body of Christ to call what is good, good and what is evil, evil.
When we look in retrospect of the latter part of the 20th Century until now, a conservative number regarding the abortion holocaust in America, we would see that the blood of 50 million is on our hands and on our land. We must take responsibility not only as American citizens but citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.
As leaders in the Bound4Life movement in Bismarck we have been called upon to represent our state on a day of praying and fasting at TheCall in Washington DC on August 16th. TheCall originated in Washington DC in 2000 with half a million attendees present praying that God would dispense justice speedily for the unborn and that infamous 1973 court case, Roe v Wade, be turned over.
TheCall is a FAST not a festival. TheCall is a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY not a conference. Whereas conferences focus primarily on training and discipleship, the 12 hours of TheCall are spent primarily before the Lord in the place of prayer and worship. We believe the hour is late and the times are urgent. Our nation is in desperate need of revival and it will be only through the corporate body of Christ uniting in the place of prayer that we will find any hope in this hour. We believe we can see our nation changed as the Lord pours out His Spirit and brings refreshing to the broken, destitute, and the weary across our land.
During The Call, we believe that God is going to take us to a deeper level of fasting and prayer, and a better understanding of His call in our lives.
We are urging our friends and family to financially and prayerfully support us to see we make it to Washington DC on August 16th.
